These terms and conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between Kirklees Active Leisure (“Us”, “We”, “Our”, “KAL”) and you when you make use of our websites or mobile apps to make a booking.
Please read these Terms carefully before you make a booking and if you have any questions or require further information, please contact us via link.
Booking conditions
- All fees paid in advance are non-refundable. Your credit or debit card will be charged when you make your booking.
- Bookings are non-transferrable.
- Bookings made through our websites will be confirmed by an email sent to your registered email address. We recommend you print or save a copy of this confirmation for your records. You may be required to bring this confirmation when you attend your booking.
- Payment must be made on booking. If you are required to make a payment for your booking you must do so at the time of the booking. Any activities or services that are not paid will be automatically cancelled after 20 minutes after they are made.
- It is your responsibility to check you have booked the correct venue, time and date. We are under no obligation to rectify mistakes.
- If you are unable to attend a pre-booked activity you agree to cancel your booking at the earliest opportunity. You can cancel your booking via:
-
- our bookings website by logging in and clicking Manage Bookings,
- our mobile app by tapping the My Bookings tile, or
- our contact centre by calling us on the telephone number listed on the Contact Us page.
- You agree to always adhere to our admissions policies during your use of our facilities. Failure to follow these policies may result in you being asked to leave the activity. In such cases no refund or alternative activities will be offered.
- By making a booking you confirm you have reviewed and understand our Health Commitment Statement before you participate in any physical activity.
Booking cancellations
- Bookings are non-transferrable and non-refundable. If we are unable to provide the activity or service, we will offer an alternative activity or date. If the alternatives are not acceptable, we may, at our discretion, offer a refund.
- As our bookings are leisure activities, your right to cancel your booking under The Consumer Contract (Cancellation, Information and Additional Payments) Regulations 2013 will not apply (s 28 (1) (h)).
- If you are a member with a subscription that includes free or discounted access to activities. If you make booking that you subsequently cannot attend, you should cancel that booking at the earliest opportunity to free space up for other customers. Repeatedly failing to attend booking activities may result in your online/app booking privileges being removed. Please review your membership terms and conditions for further information.
- Where customers have been found to have made overlapping bookings, we may automatically cancel the latest booking(s) and notify you of such action.
We reserve the right to update change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to this page. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Continued use of our online services constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
