Frequently Asked Questions

Adult Swimming Lessons

Do you allow face masks, snorkels and other training aids?
While the use of these items may help a customer train, they can also be a hazard to other swimmers. Therefore we do not allow  any training aids such as hand paddles, fins, snorkels and face masks.
Only standard goggles are allowed.
Can Adult swimming lessons be refunded or frozen?

KAL do not allow swimming lessons to be frozen or provide a refund if you miss a lesson.
KAL calculate the yearly cost of access to instructor led lessons based on 48 lessons taking place in a 52-week period. If KAL do not provide 48 lessons in a 52-week period, we will refund 1/48th of the yearly cost of your membership for each lesson that we do not provide. We calculate this figure in January each year for the previous year and we will notify any members if they are due a refund.
