Kirklees Active Leisure (KAL) is one of the most progressive Leisure Trusts in the UK and we’re very proud of our achievements!
 
We are the largest employer of under 25’s in Kirklees and employ over 550 people!
 
We will be offering you a chance to come along to chat to some of our team members from KAL’s Aquatics and Activity Team, whether it’s to discuss current job opportunities or to see what career progression we have to offer.
 
When and where is the Recruitment event?
 
Thursday 5th February at Huddersfield Leisure Centre (HD1 4BP) from 15:30 to 18:30, with Swim Tests taking place at 15:30 and 17:30– please note we have limited spaces for the swim tests. 
 
Just arrive at Reception during this time and let them know you’re booked for our event.
 
What sort of roles and opportunities are there?
 
With over 6000 children attending KAL Swimming Lessons each week we need a large team who have the right skills and qualifications.

What can I expect on the day?
 
On the day, please report to Reception any time between 15:30 and 18:30, if you are interested in completing a swim test (that covers areas required for the NPLQ course and Aquatic positions) please select on the form below a swim test time slot for either 15:30 or 17:30  and remember to bring your swim kit- including a T Shirt, Shorts, Swim Trunks/Costume, Towel and £1 for a locker (please note places are limited)….
 
Applicants can expect to be on site for up to 1 hour. You’ll get to chat with one of our team and ask any questions, we will be asking you a few too to find out your skills.  Don’t forget your CV!
