What is the offer?
KAL is offering new members the opportunity to sign up to a KAL membership and pay £1 to join for their first payment, this includes joining fee & pro rata.

How long is the offer valid for?
The offer will run from 8th September – 3rd November 2025

Which Memberships is this relevant to?
Available on Full and Off-Peak 12-payment contract memberships only. This offer excludes all discounted memberships

How many payments must be made before I can cancel? 
Members must complete 12 full Direct Debit payments before a cancellation request can be made. Once you have made the 12 full payments to cancel you must email contact.centre@kal.org.uk giving 30 days notice. Do not cancel your Direct Debit as this will incur further charges.

Do discounted or free payments count towards the 12 contractual payments? 
Discounted or free payments do not count towards the 12 contractual payments.

Does the initial joining payment count towards the 12 contractual payments?
The initial payment made at the time of joining does not count towards the 12 contractual payments.

Who is this offer for?
This offer is available to new customers only. For the purpose of this offer, a new customer is defined as someone who did not have an active membership as of 16th May 2025. This offer is not available to any individual who has previously held a membership with KAL and has been sent to debt collection or issued a chargeback.

Can this offer be used alongside any other promotion or discount?
This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or discount.
