How is a winner chosen?
All nominations are reviewed each quarter. A shortlist is created, and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) selects the winner from the shortlisted nominees.
Do I need to consent to be entered?
Yes. All nominated members must provide their consent before they can be included on the shortlist.
Shortlisted members will also be asked to complete a photography consent form if they are happy for their photograph to be used on KAL’s website and social media channels.
What is the prize?
The winner will receive a certificate presented by one of KAL’s senior managers.
In addition:
  • Adult winners who consent to their photo being shared on KAL’s social media channels will receive one month’s free membership.
  • Junior winners who consent to their photo being shared will receive a £30 Love2shop voucher.
Existing members will receive one free month on their current membership type.
What information is required to accept the prize?
To claim the prize, winners must provide a valid email address or telephone number.
At the time the award is presented, winners must hold an active KAL Membership or Flexi Card.
Membership Terms
The free month’s membership will begin on the date it is issued and cannot be deferred.
  • The free membership cannot be frozen or suspended.
  • There is no cash alternative.
  • The offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer.
  • Membership is non-transferable.
  • Winners must complete a Health Commitment Statement before using KAL facilities.

  • The free membership excludes Yeah! Days Out attractions.
General Terms & Conditions
  • KAL accepts no responsibility for nominations, entries or communications that are lost, delayed, damaged or not received due to technical faults or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including network, server, hardware or software failures.
  • KAL reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Customer Star Awards or these terms at any time without prior notice.
  • The decision of the Senior Leadership Team is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
