How to use HomePortal

HomePortal Guide

One of the main benefits of children’s swimming lessons is being able to track progress online through HomePortal. Here, you can manage passwords and online payments, as well as progression movements. Choose from a time that suits you and your child best and sign up to that class. You will also be notified when your child has achieved their next award!

Registering for HomePortal

What you'll need to register

To successfully register for the Home Portal, you will need: You or your child's membership card number. You or your child's date of birth. The postcode or email address that you provided when signing up to lessons. 

Step 1

You will need to enter your child's Card ID number.

Step 2

You will need to enter your child's date of birth first followed by the email address registered to the membership.

Step 3

You can also add any of the child's siblings if required.

Step 4

To finalise your child's registration, you'll need to enter login details for the account. Enter the email address used and set a password, accept the terms and conditions and confirm.

Moving a Lesson

Logging in

You will need to log in first before you can move a lesson. You can use the link just below to access the Portal.

Step 1

You will need to email the Customer Service team on contact.centre@kal.org.uk to activate the move option on your childs portal. Once this has been actioned, you will see "Your child's name' is now ready to move to the next level". From here you can click 'Move'. 

Step 2

You will now be able to see all the available classes. These include: The day of the class. The class name. The time of the class. Who the teacher of the class is. Please note: You will not be able to see any 'full' classes. Find the class that you would like to move you or your child to and click 'Move'. If you wish to move centres you will need to contact our Customer Team on 01484 766131. 

Step 3

Once you have clicked 'Move' you will see a message informing you of "your movement was successful".
