Be A Swimmer- £27.00 p/m
Be a Swimmer (monthly direct debit)
These sessions is for any swimmer with little or no experience. The session will cover outcomes from Swim England Be Water Confidence and Be A Swimmer.
This session is about gaining the confidence to enter the pool safely. It also covers the ability to move around the pool with confidence and to achieve basic core aquatic skills.
These sessions aim to give participants the skills to start swimming independently over short distances. The sessions are ideal for those with none to little previous swimming experience who feel confident enough to try skills using floatation equipment or for those who have not been in the pool for a while and would like to get back into swimming.
The monthly cost of Be a Swimmer swimming lessons is £27.00 payable by Direct Debit.
Be A Better Swimmer
Be A Better Swimmer- monthly direct debit
These sessions give swimmers who can already swim distances of 10m or more, the necessary skills to start swimming longer distances independently, as well as build confidence to take part in other activities such as SwimFit, public swimming and length swimming.
All adults in Adult Learn 2 Swim must be completing sections of the relevant framework and progressing, adults will not be able to attend once they have completed the framework relevant to the class, they are in.
The monthly cost of swimming lessons is £27.00 payable by Direct Debit.
Adult Performance Swimming Masters or KSP Para Performance Programme
To enter this programme swimmers must trial with KAL Swim Performance prior to joining.
How old do you need to be to attend?
Adult lessons are available from the age of 16 years.
KAL no longer offers Teen Academy sessions, which catered for swimmers between the ages of 11-15 years old, swimmers can therefore attend Adult Learn 2 Swim from 13 years old under parental supervision. If they are not accompanied, the swimmer will be turned away, this will not be refundable. Those attending Female Only specific sessions should be accompanied by female parent/guardian. Males are unable to spectate.
