Introduction to KAL School Swimming 

The KAL School Swimming service prioritises delivering a quality service for school swimming. We follow the Swim England School Swimming Charter to successfully achieve the National Curriculum outcomes, maintaining attainment above the national average. We are a National Awarding winning service for primary schools with a partnership approach, co-ordinating all programming and transport arrangements where required and available to meet with schools upon request.

Our Vision

KAL’s Vision is to improve health & wellbeing, with a key element of this being to create the opportunity for every child in Kirklees to learn to swim. 

Our Aim

Our aim is to provide a fun, safe and high-quality environment for all children to have the opportunity to learn to swim, be safe around water and have an active, enjoyable experience.  

KAL want to promote and create life-long participation in physical activity, inspire and encourage future generations and deliver a high-quality, high-achieving school swimming programme, working in partnership with local schools.
