One of our fantastic Rookie Lifeguards, Sam Vickers, has done an incredible job fundraising for the RNLI—an organisation close to his heart.

Sam began his swimming journey with KAL at Swim Ducklings lessons, and his passion for the RNLI was sparked after his Year 6 teacher returned from visiting a lifeboat station with a small jar of 5p coins. Inspired by this simple idea, Sam decided to start collecting 5ps of his own.

 

With the support of his local community, Sam’s efforts have paid off—he has now raised over £250!
